AstroWellness respects the personal nature of the information clients share. This policy explains what information is collected through this website, why it is used, and the choices available to clients.
Information we collect
Depending on the service or inquiry, AstroWellness may collect:
- Name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, and communication preferences.
- Birth date, birth time, birth location, current location, and an intended birthday location when needed for a reading.
- For a compatibility reading, information about a second person that the purchaser confirms they are authorized to provide.
- Questions, areas of focus, additional notes, appointment communications, and service history.
- Order details, payment status, transaction references, and the service purchased.
- Basic technical information created when the site is used, such as IP address, browser information, and server logs.
How information is used
Information is used to respond to inquiries, prepare and provide purchased services, arrange appointments, deliver Single Question responses, process and confirm payments, communicate about an order, maintain business records, prevent fraud or misuse, and comply with legal obligations.
No sale of client information
AstroWellness does not sell client personal information. Client information is not shared for third-party advertising or independent marketing.
Service providers and necessary disclosures
Information may be processed by companies that help operate the website and provide the requested service. These may include the website host, Supabase for protected order and intake storage, Resend for transactional email, and the payment processor offered at checkout, which may include Stripe or PayPal. Payment processors handle payment credentials under their own privacy terms; AstroWellness does not store full card or bank-account credentials.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect clients or the business, or in connection with a transfer of the business subject to appropriate privacy protections.
Retention and deletion requests
Client intake, birth information, communications, and order records are retained indefinitely unless the client requests deletion. To request access, correction, or deletion, email astrokiosk@gmail.com. Some transaction or business records may need to be retained when required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, or accounting purposes. Information held independently by a payment processor is governed by that processor’s policies.
People under 18
The person purchasing a service must be at least 18 years old. A reading may concern a person of any age, but the adult purchaser must be authorized to provide that person’s information. A parent or legal guardian may request deletion of information submitted about a minor.
Security
AstroWellness uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information collected. No method of online transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Cookies and external services
AstroWellness uses Google Analytics on public pages only when a visitor chooses “Accept analytics.” Google Analytics may process information about public pages visited, general device and browser characteristics, approximate location derived from an IP address, and interactions with the site. AstroWellness uses this information to understand site usage and improve public content. Analytics is not configured for advertising or personalized advertising.
The Google Analytics tag is blocked until consent is granted. AstroWellness does not send Analytics page-view events for protected administration, secure customer intake, appointment scheduling, or order-confirmation pages. Visitors may decline analytics or reopen “Analytics choices” in the website footer to change their preference. Essential site functions and third-party checkout services may use cookies or similar technologies needed for security, payment processing, and operation of their services.
